CARPENTER ANT PEST CONTROL | Richmond, Sugar Land, Katy

Integrated Pest Management, Inc.

Carpenter ants get their name because they burrow into wood in order to build their nests. Their excavation results in smooth tunnels inside the wood. They may create kick holes in window frames, crown molding, and baseboards leaving behind sawdust called frass. Unlike Termites, Carpenter Ants get no nutritional value from wood. Over time they can damage and weaken structural wood of the house.

These are large ants ranging in size from one-quarter inch for a worker ant to up to three-quarters inch for a queen.

Elimination of the ant colony attacking your home can be achieved by treating the exterior of the home and conducive or active areas of the landscape. We will inspect for issues that are conducive to carpenter ants entering your home. We treat the interior by inspecting for activity and injecting an insecticide into the wood or wall void.
